Career-wise I was fairly risk-adverse for over a decade. Then I realized how bored I was and I started saying yes to opportunities that shoved me way outside of my comfort zone. Little did I know what a positive domino effect that would have. Regardless of the outcome, there’s usually something to learn in the process anyway.
