Dear Ones —
There has been a lot happening in the realm of my Milestones this past month. For those who are new, this is my monthly series where I’m tracking my progress with my chosen goal/phrase of the year, which is time constraints. I wrote recently that I came home from Europe feeling rebellious about my own life, craving a change or some kind of shift that would allow me to live in greater alignment with my unique gifts and interests. This is not a new feeling. My choice to focus on time constraints this year I think is connected to — perhaps symptomatic of — this urge inside. I only have one shot at this thing called Life and I want to make sure I’m not avoiding change just because the alternate is more “comfortable.”
Of course I say this knowing that comfort is an illusion; that we can stay in a situation that isn’t serving us — that may even be harming us or betraying our potential — when the leap of faith might (dare I say will) lead us to far better circumstances.
