Dear Ones —
October. Do you ever feel like October is that tap on the shoulder, reminding you the year is wrapping up? All those things you committed to at the turn of the new year come to the forefront, begging you to answer: How did I do? Every October, I begin to replay the year behind me and reflect even before the year is up.
During this past year that I’ve dedicated to time constraints and embracing life’s limits, I’ve been on a journey to find my bearings and also create balance. I’ve learned a lot in the process. This past month, I’ve (re)learned the importance of having a margin available so that when life throws us a curveball (or two, or three), we’re not in instant panic mode.
