Dear Ones —

Tonight the air is warm and humid. A rainstorm just descended on us, but from under the shelter of our large porch we could stay dry while we marvelled at the water falling harder than we’ve so far seen here in Costa Rica.

Yes, Costa Rica. 🌴

We finally made it here. I say finally because we’ve been conjuring up this trip, in various iterations, for almost a year. Planning, dreaming, researching, fretting, pivoting, relenting, reigniting, booking, going. Because travelling during COVID-19 wasn’t something we took lightly (nor is it straightforward to do). We needed to do it safely. We needed to do it right.

Some have asked me, “What’s the point? Why now?”
