Γειά σου (hello) from Greece!
This letter is coming to you much later than I anticipated, but travel does that to us, doesn’t it? It bends time and uproots us from the calendar. It could be the weekend or a Wednesday for all I know. Occasionally, I find myself checking for this information so that I’m not emailing a client at 2 a.m. their time, on a Saturday.
I love that travel affords me the opportunity to float when I usually live by a well-constructed schedule, with time blocks for this and that, gym sessions booked in, phone calls or virtual meetings that demand I be at my desk at a certain time. So, float I have through Athens, the island of Cyprus and now back to Greece, where we have landed on the island of Mykonos. Tomorrow is our last day before starting the long trek back to Canada.
