It struck me this morning, this #40. That means I’ve been writing Letters Home for 40 months…over three years. Many of you have been along for the ride from the very beginning. Thank you.
Yesterday I had a quiet afternoon alone at home while Paul took the kids out and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I made a fresh brew, cut off a slice of homemade Irish apple cake, grabbed my journal and got comfy on the couch. I pulled up some questions created by Dr. Nedra Tawwab a few years ago: 10 Questions to Process Before You Wrap Up 2024. I first found these in 2021 and each year have spent time to reflect back before the calendar turns to January. (I've put them below in case you’re interested in some prompted journalling and reflection time.)
The questions took me in many surprising directions and also offered me clarity on what I’ve been grasping for. For the first time in a long time, I am not in the midst of a big project. I’m not building anything, launching anything…
