Dear Ones β
Last month I wrote that the leaves outside my desk window were a brilliant golden hue. This month, they are gone. In case you missed it, I recently wrote about these changing seasons and what happens during the rotting phases of life, so to speak β those times when things appear lifeless, but really they are just fertilizing something new. New life will eventually spring from the soil made rich through the decomposing process.
I canβt think of a better metaphor for my career path right now. No, nothing is particularly dead, just lacking in momentum. Iβve put projects β Iβve put my neck β out there, and it would seem I am now in a holding pattern of sorts.
But, as much as I feel the yearning to create right now, I have this βknowingβ that it is best to WAIT. Wait for the right thing. Wait to see how I feel. Wait to see what unfolds.
Good golly, itβs hard to wait.
