Dear Ones —
I wasn’t sure what to call you, this being my first letter home and all. Supporters? Patrons? Friends? They all seem to fit. “Dear Ones” came to me because you are all dear to me. Not only do you show up for me, you are putting your hard-earned dollars into something I’m creating.
This morning I got up, made a coffee and sat at my computer to tackle a few pressing work items. Then, lo and behold, a notification popped up on my computer “Meg Paddling, 9am-12pm.” Right…. That. For a few years now it’s been a practice of mine to schedule my time off, my “me” time. So, there it was. For a few minutes, I tried to ignore the notification. I’ve got too much to do. Ok, that was kind of a lie. I have lots to do, all the time, but my current productivity and focus levels (read: low) were no match for the workload.
